Why should I register?
In order to fully utilize all features of this system you must create an account.
Why do I get logged off automatically?
You must select "Yes" on “Automatically login when you return to the site?" on your profile preferences.
I've lost my password!
Go to the login page and click Password lookup. Follow the instructions and you should be back online in no time.
How do I change my settings?
All of your settings (if you are registered) are stored in the database. To modify them, first go to My Control Panel. You will see your options in the My Profile section for changing settings and preferences.
Does this site use cookies?
The use of cookies on this system is required to track your current session, ensuring that you remain logged-on while browsing the site. However, unless you choose to log in always, your cookies are removed within a preset time.
How can I change the information in my profile?
It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile up-to-date. You must ensure that your email listing address is kept current. Go to My Control Panel and click on the Update Profile link to make changes. You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username.
How do I prevent my username appearing in the online user listings?
In your preferences you will find an option to be in "Invisible Mode," if you switch this on you'll not be visible by other members as online. You will be counted as a hidden user.
How do I post a listing?
To post a listing: Go to My Control Panel and click on Post New Listing and you will be taken to the Listing Center. Follow the instructions detailing the step by step listing process.
How do I edit or delete a listing?
To edit or delete a personal listing: Go to My Control Panel and click on Posted Listings. Click on either Edit or Delete under the Options column.
What's the difference between email and my private mailbox?
You can't send email directly to or from a private mailbox. When you reply to a personal listing, you're sending a message from your private mailbox to the private mailbox of the member who posted the listing. The same process happens when you reply to a message that you've received in your own private mailbox.
I keep getting unwanted private messages!
In the future we will be adding an ignore list to the private messaging system. If you continue to receive unwanted messages please contact us for assistance.
How do I send private messages?
Go to My Control Panel and click on Compose New Message. Enter the usernames of the people you want to send the private message to and make sure to separate each username with a semicolon.
How do I upload images to my listing?
You can upload images to your listing using the Gallery or upload images directly from your computer to the listing. If using the Gallery, you will need to go to My Control Panel first and click on Upload Files. Follow the instructions to populate your Gallery. If you choose not to use the Gallery, you can upload images during step 3 of the listing process by clicking the Browse button and locating images to upload directly from your computer.
